Ler Teatro com Ciência
The project Ler Teatro com Ciência (Reading Theatre with Science) aims to present contemporary dramaturgies related to Science, in the form of public readings. The readings take place either in Marionet’s headquarters or in other places around the city, and are open to all interested parties. The very first reading took place on the 26th of May 2021.
Collaborative Translation Project
The lack of Portuguese translations of the most recent dramatic works that address scientific issues, namely many of those we have in our Documentation Centre, led us to create the Collaborative Translation Project (CTP). The goal is to translate these plays into Portuguese for the readings in Ler Teatro Com Ciência (Reading Theatre with Science). This has been successfully accomplished thanks to the precious help of a fabulous team of volunteers.
