In a year’s time is right around the corner!

Today, 20 October 2026, marks the start of the countdown to the launch of the 4th edition of the international conference ‘Theatre about Science’!

 

This artistic-scientific event, co-organised by Marionet, aims to map and reflect on the intersections between theatre and science, promote exchange and broaden knowledge in this field, trace the evolution of previous trends and identify new types of crossovers. An additional perspective guiding these biennial gatherings is that of fostering encounters between the worlds of the arts and scientific communication.

 

The 2021, 2023 and 2025 editions fostered a strong sense of belonging amongst conference participants, laying the foundations for the creation of a network of people who work in and/or are interested in bringing theatre and science together, or vice versa. Now, in its fourth edition, the conference will continue to encourage and welcome both sides of this equation, sparking fruitful discussions and, ultimately, shedding light on a range of motivations and perspectives.
