And so ended "Oxymoron, between Solstices and Equinoxes"
Last Sunday was the last performance of “Oxymoron, between Solstices and Equinoxes” and we are still digesting the intensity of everything we experienced. Thrilled with all the feedback we’ve had on this show so far, we’d like to say a few important thank-yous.
We’d like to start by thanking the Municipality of Coimbra and the team at Convento São Francisco for co-producing this show with us, as well as the Directorate-General for the Arts, which, with its funding, allows us to hire artistic and technical teams of excellence.
To the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra and the Coimbra Family Health Unit, for the challenge, the scientific advice and the bridges they created. A very special thank you to all the people who contributed to the play with testimonies about their personal experience with bipolar disorder. To our regular partners, who enable Marionet to thrive, reach more people and have the best hairstyles: MAFIA – Federação Cultural de Coimbra, Rádio Universidade de Coimbra, Antena 2, and Ilidio Design Cabeleireiros. Also to A Escola da Noite, for always lending us a hand when we need it.
To interns Ana Santos and Felipe Damasceno, for their indispensable help in the production of this show. To João Fernandes, for allowing us to look at Proxima Centauri. Rita Alcaire, for her support literature. To the panel made up of Cláudia Pereira, Inês Santana, Pedro Renca and Tiago Santos, for providing an excellent post-show chat.
Finally, we would like to express our immense gratitude to all the people who attended “Oxímoro, entre Solstícios e Equinócios”, and who make all these months of work make sense!
We would also like to remind you that those who attended any of the sessions can make a very important contribution by answering the questionnaire “Marionet’s Audiences“, which you can find at this link.
