In the context of Marionet’s upcoming show “Oxymoron, between Solstices and Equinoxes“, we’ve organised a conversation with Fumaça. This is a remarkable investigative journalism podcast that was born with the increasingly pertinent purpose of dealing with various topics in a lengthy and in-depth manner. In their editorial charter, they assume to be an independent, progressive and dissident media organisation.

We challenge all interested people to come and take part in a Collective Listening Session, in which we will listen to one of the episodes of the series “Desassossego”, which tackles mental health from angles ranging from personal experiences to politics, comparing promises with what is actually put into practice.

There will also be an exhibition at Marionet of works of art produced by users of the CHUC Psychiatry Unit’s House of Arts.

The meeting will take place on 9 March at 4pm at Marionet’s headquarters and we’ll be joined by Margarida David Cardoso and Bernardo Afonso, journalists from the Fumaça team. Capacity is limited to 30 people, so we recommend booking in advance using this form.
