We took part in an Improbable Conversation
Today, Marionet’s Artistic Director contributed a moment of theatre reading of the play “Photograph 51” to the “Improbable Conversations” event, organised by the Centre for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology (CIBB-UC).
The meeting, which took place at the Science Museum and was held in the context of the International Women’s Day celebrations, counted with the participation of our Mário Montenegro, Catarina Silva (Computer Engineering), Cláudia Cavadas (Pharmacy), Inês Pereira (Geology), Tatiana Moura (Sociology), and Sónia Cardoso (Economics), moderated by Anabela Marisa Azul (Biology) and illustrated live by Rui Tavares (Comic Book Artist).
The Improbable Conversations series of sessions is an initiative of the communication action group of the Metabolism, Ageing and Disease (MED) research line at CIBB-UC, and aims to increase literacy in science and health with informal conversations, in order to promote awareness of various diseases, as well as encourage early and informed actions and decisions, in order to contribute to a healthier society.
