We already have a play to Read Theatre with Science in January

We had already informed you that the first Read Theatre with Science of 2024 will take place in January. But now we can finally announce the text selected for this reading, chosen through a public vote: “Photograph 51” by Anna Ziegler.

 

The play will now be translated from English into Portuguese as part of the Collaborative Translation Project, in yet another exercise inspired by the concept citizen science. If you would like to join this team in time to participate in this translation, just send an email to ler@marioneteatro.com by 21 December.

 

We’ll read the translated version at Marionet’s headquarters (Rua Carlos Seixas, 277) at 6pm on 24 January. Participating in the session, whether by reading or just watching, is just a matter of registering via the email address above. And, of course, the year changes, but we’ll stick to the habit of welcoming you with the usual biscuits, accompanied by a good selection of teas. Come along!
