Linking art and science on the radio

Last Wednesday, 20 November, the Antena 1 programme ‘Uma Noite em Forma de Assim’ [An Evening in the Shape of This] was transformed into ‘90 Minutos de Ciência’ [90 Minutes of Science] and one of the people responsible for this was our artistic director Mário Montenegro (together with researcher and columnist David Marçal, artist Patrícia Correia and scientist Júlia Salaroli).

Hosted by Jorge Afonso, this broadcast discussed important and pertinent issues in the universe of the intersection between art and science, including the case of Marionet, as a theatre company strongly dedicated to it. In view of the premiere of ‘The Virtuoso’, which will take place on 12 December at the Gil Vicente Academic Theatre, the creation of this show was also addressed.
