Over a hundred people celebrating a centenary

We are very happy!

 

With yesterday’s presentation of “Library Rat”, besides associating ourselves to the commemorations of the centenary of Coimbra’s Municipal Library, we underlined the importance of these spaces for the society in which we live. Books are books and, sometimes, we take them for granted. But we should not forget that we must continue to preserve them, organise them and, finally, make them available.

 

This show was a great excuse to take more than a hundred people to a space where citizenship and democracy, a hundred years later, are still the basis of this important public service.
