Marionet's Project selected by Direção-Geral das Artes

We are extremely happy to share that the project Marionet submitted to the  Programa de Apoio em Parceria – Arquivos de Dança, Teatro e Cruzamento Disciplinar (Partnership Support Programme – Dance, Theatre and Cross-Disciplinary Archives) has been selected by the Direção-Geral das Artes (Directorate-General for the Arts).

 

For the next few months, with the support of the archivist Ana Margarida Dias da Silva and the consultant Illumini, we will be working on the project Marionetarium – repositório digital do arquivo e biblioteca da Marionet (Marionetarium – Marionet’s digital archive and library repository). We will be processing and organizing the company’s 21 years of activity, soon to be made available both presentially and on-line, so as to cherish the study and the knowledge of the performing arts history and, in particular, of the cross-disciplinary meeting between the performing arts and science in Portugal’s last two decades.
