Musical odyssey of the singer/actor Il Maiale Nero through the mysteries of love
Il Maiale Nero, summer fruit of the end of frontiers, premiered in Coimbra a work he has been chewing for the last few years. This singer/actor is considered by specialists as a pioneer of the fusion movement worldwide: “since he appeared something fused.”
He possesses a music style that privileges the content of the venues he performs in and he specialized in getting out of the guitar what it refuses. The artificial support, as he emphasises, is also one of the means he uses to pour his words out.
Aware of the unknown that surrounds him in this first challenge, Il Maiale Nero lifts up the skirt and reveals the starting line-up: Lurdes, Butterflies, Sane Mind in a Healthy Body, Jejus, Tetelé Fonaré, Lack of I, With You I Want More, Justification, My Tongue is Injured, Cowboy and I Thought I Could Sing.
Marionet warns that this is a show for people with a good sense of humour.

Il Maiale Nero is the root, body and members of Strange Love. In this music-theatre show, he sings to us the ventures and travails of human love. As he often says: “We are all things that constantly do other things we regret and feel proud of.” A pioneer of fusion in the music world and beyond, he specialised in getting out of the guitar what it doesn’t want. In his rare shows between conversations with the audience and adjusting his trousers, he presents songs in which the lyricism extends over such a wide spectrum of themes, ranging from the people, their longings, love and his two breasts. Born in the last century Il Maiale Nero still doesn’t know when he will die.
