We did a Rain Dance at Sala da Cidade
Yesterday we gathered at Sala da Cidade for the 21st session of Reading Theatre with Science and, after admiring the exhibition Let’s go to the table! from the Underground Gallery, we read the play ‘Rain Dance’ by Lanford Wilson, published in 2005.
This was another stimulating moment of public sharing of a theatre text inspired by a scientific theme, in this case addressing ethical and human issues related to the development of the atomic bomb. After the lively reading, there was the usual informal exchange of ideas, accompanied by tea and some cookies. Did you miss this session? The next opportunity will be on 20 November at 6pm, this time at Marionet.
Reading Theatre with Science is an initiative that began in May 2021 and has been gathering an increasing number of people interested in sharing the reading of science-themed plays and joining the Collaborative Translation Project group. Thank you once again for your participation and contribution!
