“R.U.R.“, by Karel Čapek, was the work that won the close vote for the play to be read at the 20th Reading Theatre with Science. The session will take place at Casa das Artes Bissaya Barreto (Castro Matoso, nº 17, Coimbra), on 17 July, at 6pm.
The next step is the translation into Portuguese, through the Collaborative Translation Project, an initiative inspired by the concept of citizen science. Anyone wishing to join the team in time to help with this translation just has to send an email to ler@marioneteatro.com by 18 June.
Participating in the session is free, whether you’re reading or just watching, and all you need to do is sign up via the email address above. As always, we’ll be bringing cookies and some cold drinks.
