Reading Theatre With Science
Reading Theatre with Science aims to present contemporary dramaturgies related to Science, in the form of public readings. The reading will be performed by Marionet staff and volunteers who wish to participate, and will occur every two months. The readings will take place at Marionet’s headquarters and will be open to all interested parties.
One thing we will have to deal with is the lack of Portuguese translations for the vast majority of recent plays that address science. To solve this difficulty we will start a Collaborative Translation Project (CTP) with the goal of translating the plays for the readings. This project is inspired by the concept of citizen science and promotes translation in a distributed way by a group of volunteers.
