The nineteenth instalment of Reading Theatre with Science takes place on 20 June, at 6pm. This will be an extra session, outside of the usual bi-monthly regularity, and will take us to the Coimbra Book Fair, in Largo do Poço.
The text to be read is a return to the play ‘Constellations’, by Nick Payne, which was translated as part of the Collaborative Translation Project and read at the inaugural session of Ler teatro com Ciência, held in May 2021. It’s the story of the relationship between a theoretical physicist and a beekeeper, in its countless variations and permutations, within a system of multiple universes.
As always, the original text, as well as the aforementioned translation, are available for consultation or loan at the Performing Arts and Science Documentation Centre.
