10th Reading Theatre with Science
Reading Theatre with Science is back for five more sessions throughout 2023. The first reading takes place on 18 January, at 6pm, with the play “Boom”, by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb.
Bruaá Bookshop, located at Convento São Francisco, is the chosen location for our first gathering in 2023.
“Boom”, already being translated by our volunteers, is a comedy that explores the conflict between fate and the random events in our lives. “Sex to Change the Course of the World” – is the online personal ad that lures a female journalism student to a student’s subterranean lab for a night of no-strings-attached sex. Outside, chaos ensues when the planet is hit by a planet-wide catastrophe. Will they survive?
Come and find out by reading along with us on 18 January. You can sign up through our social media or email us at ler@marioneteatro.com by 17 January.
The Reading Theatre with Science project aims to present contemporary plays related to Science, in the form of public reading sessions. Those who sign up can either join us for free as readers or as listeners.
