Marionet performs in Seia!

After its premiere in the city of Coimbra in March 2024 at the Convento São Francisco, ‘Oxymoron, between Solstices and Equinoxes’ will now travel to the Casa Municipal da Cultura de Seia for a one-off performance on 8 February.

 

We’d like to remind you that this show came about as part of a partnership with the Coimbra Hospital and University Centre and the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra, and that the play was written by Mário Montenegro, who was also in charge of directing. It was created from scratch, inspired by a series of interviews with patients and health professionals, and the result is yet another collaborative effort that has characterised our company’s work.

 

We’re delighted that Marionet will be taking to the stage of the Casa da Cultura in Seia for the first time and, with this session, contributing to increasing knowledge about bipolar disorder and reducing the stigma that is still associated with this disease.
