We've reached two dozen readings
Yesterday marked the 20th session of Reading Theatre with Science!
Coincidentally with this round number, we gathered more than 20 people at the Casa das Artes Bissaya Barreto, where the whole team gave us a warm welcome. In a very pleasant evening, we read ‘R.U.R.’, the visionary work by Karel Čapek, and shared the world that the author imagined, dangerously dominated by technology and robots.
We will now take the usual two-month break and the readings will return on 18 September, with a new play at a new venue. The time (6pm) and, of course, the snack of tea and cakes will remain the same.
Reading Theatre with Science is an initiative that began in May 2021 and has been gathering an increasing number of people interested in sharing the reading of science-themed plays and joining the Collaborative Translation Project group. Thank you once again for your participation and contribution!
