Reading Theatre with Science | Lauren M. Gunderson's "The Catastrophist"
In our first 2022 session of the Reding Theatre with Science, we’ll be reading Lauren M. Gunderson‘s “The Catastrophist“.
Our Collaborative Translation Project volunteers are now finishing the translation of this play, written during the 2020 lockdown and based on the life and work of the playwright’s own husband, Dr. Nathan Wolfe, a virologist and pandemic specialist. It is an intimate play, that deals with real stories of love, family and loss, through the depths of scientific exploration, the prescience in the prediction of pandemics and the harrowing need to face one’s own mortality.
The reading session will take place at Marionet’s space, next Wednesday, 16 February, at 6 pm. Entry is free of charge and we thank you for registering in advance through our email: ler@marioneteatro.com
