Reading Theatre with Science | "The Einstein Project" by Paul d'Andrea and Jon Klein
In the next session of Reading Theater with Science, we will read the play “The Einstein Project“, by Paul d’Andrea and Jon Klein.
This play is being translated by volunteers from the Collaborative Translation Project. D’Andrea and Klein reject clichés about Albert Einstein in order to reveal the truth about this man – a dynamic man with a Shakespearean personality driven by passions, fears and rage. The dramaturgy navigates through the story of Einstein, the pacifist who was forced to work in the creation of atomic weapons in favor of the United States of America during World War II and culminates in the relationship with his son Edward, who gives him hope to face the inevitable.
The session will take place on 20 April, at Liquidâmbar in Coimbra (6 pm). Admission is free and we appreciate the early registration through our email: ler@marioneteatro.com
